What is Christ Renews His Parish?
Christ Renews His Parish is a spiritual renewal experience designed to bring parishioners together in Christ and help them grow deeper in their faith and understanding of the Christian life. The weekend combines inspiring talks, small group discussions, shared meals, Mass, prayer, and fellowship in a welcoming and supportive environment. It is an opportunity to step away from the busyness of daily life, reflect on Christ’s invitation for you, and respond by growing in a deeper relationship with God.
What makes this experience unique is that it doesn't end with the weekend. Participants are invited to continue gathering as a faith community, building lasting friendships, growing spiritually, and eventually sharing the gift of CRHP with others in the parish.
Who May Attend?
The weekend is open to any parishioner of Christ the King Catholic Church who is 19 years of age or older. Those who have previously attended a Christ Renews His Parish retreat are welcome to participate again after five years. The experience is also open to non-Catholic spouses of CTK parishioners who wish to grow in their faith and strengthen their relationship with Christ.

Absolutely! We want everyone to feel welcome and supported during this special weekend. If you have any health concerns, dietary needs, mobility considerations, or other special accommodations, please let us know when you register so we can make arrangements to help provide a comfortable and meaningful experience for you.
What Happens During the Weekend?
During the Christ Renews His Parish weekend, you will meet others who, like you, are seeking a deeper relationship with God. You will join a community of people who bring their own questions, hopes, challenges, and experiences as they continue growing in their faith journey.
The weekend includes reflections from team members, small group discussions, prayer, fellowship, and activities designed to help you renew your heart and grow closer to Christ. It is a time to step away from the demands of everyday life and make space for God to speak to your heart.
There is no pressure to speak or share unless you feel comfortable doing so. While you will have opportunities to share your thoughts and experiences, participation is always at your own pace. You are welcome to listen, reflect, and engage in whatever way feels right for you.

What Should I Wear?
Dress comfortably! The weekend is a relaxed and welcoming experience, so casual, comfortable clothing is recommended. Since you'll be participating in a variety of activities throughout the weekend, we also suggest bringing layers to stay comfortable in different room temperatures.
What About Meals?
Meals are provided throughout the weekend, beginning with Saturday breakfast and concluding with Sunday lunch. You'll also enjoy a variety of snacks, treats, and beverages along the way. If you have any dietary restrictions, food allergies, or other special dietary needs, please let us know in advance. We are happy to make accommodations so you can fully enjoy the weekend.
How Much Does It Cost?
The cost is $15 per person. Do not let cost deter you from coming. If you are unable to cover the $15, please reach out to the Parish Office.
