The server program instructs and enables young Catholics to serve Mass at Christ the King Church. The role of the server in the liturgy is vital to both the presider and the worshipping community. The servers help maintain a smooth “flow” to the Mass. Any interested young Catholics in fifth grade through high school who are registered in the parish may volunteer.
Altar Server Training for children 5th grade and up will begin after Spring Break. This training is for new altar servers. Training times will be advised after consultation with the school. If your child does not attend our parish school, we will work out training times for your child to be trained.

The server program instructs and enables young Catholics to serve Mass at Christ the King Church. The role of the server in the liturgy is vital to both the presider and the worshipping community. The servers help maintain a smooth “flow” to the Mass. Any interested young Catholics in fifth grade through high school who are registered in the parish may volunteer. Training is normally offered once a year at the beginning of the school year. Each server will have 3 training sessions and can begin serving once he/she has completed the 3 session training program.
